Definition of a JAP

5 days... yes, I am counting

So it is now after midnight which means it is officially 5 days left of camp. I go back and forth between having moments where that makes me incredibly happy and incredibly sad. I finally feel that I have connected with all my campers and colour war is on now which makes the days go by pretty quickly. Colour war is a time when the entire camp is broken up into two teams and they compete against each other in a variety of sports and other assorted made up events. Its run and organized by the oldest campers in camp which makes it a pretty laid back time for us where I just have to go where I am told and officiate a bunch of the events. In these last days I am really just trying to take advantage of spending time with my campers doing the things that I enjoy doing and having fun and trying to end camp with some good memories of fun things. I have all sorts of stories to tell but I am going to save most of them now for when I get home.

Speaking of coming home... I get home on Friday August 12th - probably pretty late at night, but the next day I am planning to have a BBQ at my place that you are all invited to! So keep next Saturday night open! Feel free to stop by any time after 6:00pm and bring along anything that you want to drink. Just let me know if you are coming, and if you are bringing anyone with you so that I know how much food to pick up. Chances are post BBQ we will end up going out somewhere, but I am not really sure where exactly. I am also planning on spending the day at Canada's Wonderland and if you are interested in coming along let me know!
