About that car accident thing.

This is the brief version.

We got rear ended by some guy trying to run a red light. (we were stopped, the light was red.)

It could have been much worse.

My back, neck, shoulders and hips are messed up from it.

I hate insurance companies.

I have been to a first assessment for physio. She told me it would be 3-4 months until I feel better - Once I start treatment.

The insurance company has still not approved the treatment plan. Which means that since today is December 18th, it has now been 18 days since the accident and I feel like I am getting much worse.

Did I mention I hate insurance companies???

I am on a lot of drugs, I don't like being on drugs. They make me loopy. Ask anyone that has seen me in the last couple weeks. I really have no idea what is going on with anything around me.

I hope to feel better soon. Until then, I am a lazy bum that is in pain and can't get out of bed in the morning, can't drive for long periods of time, can't sit or stand or anything for too long a period of time, or carry anything over 5 lbs.

So that's the brief story. I may at some point so a longer version, but by then the drugs may have wiped out all memory of it.

Busy, Busy, Busy

The Last 6 days: Special Olympics breakfast, work, teachers college apps, work, teachers college apps, car accident, hospital, whiplash, sick day, shopping, computer nerd, Madagascar, answering phones, dinner, Dave Matthews Band, 1/2 work day, doctor, Cozy Nails, mommy makeover, laundry.

The Next 6 days: Work, Movin' Out, work, committee meeting, work, physio, family, 1/2 day work, family, Buffalo U2, Bar Mitzvah morning, photo session, Bar Mitzvah evening, Easter Seals Skate.

And all this with whiplash. This hurts. Mentally exhausting to look at... Can't imagine how I will physically feel after it.
